Presence SetupXeeMe Xeetter is a pretty powerful tool for power networker working with Twitter and XeeMe. Xeetter is run as a chrome extension and has four major features.
- See if a Twitter user is in XeeMe
- Click on the blue sphere to open the person’s XeeMe
- Add a person who is not in XeeMe to your XeeMe connections
- Update the persons Twitter credentials i.e. Follower, Following, Tweets
Installing the Chrome Extension
In Google Chrome go to “Tools / Extensions“
Inside the Chrome webstore search for Xeetter (or just click this link)
Click on “Add to Chrome”
See who is on XeeMe
Now you will see a blue sphere for every person who is on XeeMe. If you click on the blue sphere, a new browser opens with the XeeMe of that person. You can now connect with the person in XeeMe.
Adding a person to XeeMe and include credentials
If the person is not on XeeMe you will see a grey sphere. Clicking on a grey sphere will add the person to your XeeMe, by creating a XeeMe with the respective Twitter credentials.
Updating a person’s Twitter credentials
If you open a person’s profile on Twitter, the grey sphere will add the person, but the blue sphere will actually update the latest Twitter credentials including Follower, Following, and Tweets
Timeline, Search, Following, Follower, Lists
Xeetter works on the Twitter timeline and in search results. Most importantly however, it now works also on Lists, Following and Followers. Click on a friend and see who she or he is following or followed by. You can connect with them on XeeMe or add them to XeeMe if they are not in yet.
Integration with Flights!™
If you are using Flights!™, Xeetter is unfolding an even more powerful scenario. Assume you have some people you really want to get engaged with. Let’s say you want to make sure you touch base in the social web on a daily base. Open the Flight! you want them to be in. Then go through Twitter and add the people or update by clicking the blue sphere on their profile. You will get a short confirmation on Twitter and the person is added to the Flight that is open.
Xeetter is free
The Chrome Extension is free. Right now during Beta you can add unlimited number of users via Xeetter to XeeMe and receive 250 credits for each additional user. As soon as we complete the Beta Test you will be charged with 5 credits (XeeMe Credits) per person you add via Xeetter.
